Overview

ACME has been at the forefront of the green energy revolution. Recognising the potential of green hydrogen and ammonia as clean fuels, we initiated a 5 MTPD pilot project in November 2021. Our vision is to become a global leader in green energy production, aiming for a capacity of 10 million tons of green hydrogen and ammonia annually by 2032. Our robust and dedicated team with experience in fuel manufacturing, deployment and operation on a commercial scale is at the core of all our accomplishments.

Oman’s abundant solar, wind, and land resources, existing infrastructure, expertise, and market access make it a prime location for producing renewable hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels at a competitive price. ACME has joined hands with the Omani Government and other regulatory bodies to spearhead Phase-1 (0.1 MMTPA) of a green ammonia project, aiming for large-scale production, and looks forward to achieving global leadership in this emerging sector.

Project Features

  • Phase I comprises the construction of the world’s first commercial-scale green ammonia plant with a goal to produce 0.1 Mn MT per annum
  • Subsequent phases will see a combined capacity of 1.1 Mn MT, and seek to increase the complex’s green ammonia capacity from 0.1 Mn MT to 1.2 Mn MT
  • Phase II and the wider project complex is well-positioned to meet global ammonia demand.
  • The complex will contribute towards the reduction of 3.5 Mn MT of annual CO2 emissions from the ammonia industry which currently accounts for 1% of overall global GHG emissions

India's renewable energy sector is evolving tremendously. Leveraging this advantage, ACME aims to become a global leader in the green hydrogen and derivatives sector. With multiple projects in the pipeline, we are strengthening India's energy security by supplying green hydrogen to domestic industries while exploring export opportunities.

Bikaner Green Ammonia Project
Project Image
Project Features

  • Through the commercial scale pilot plant in Bikaner, ACME was able to test, validate and optimise process parameters, including efficiency of electrolysers with varying sources of renewable power, while also validating project design and other parameters for pipeline projects
  • Hydrogen production components and the green ammonia portion were commissioned in 2020

Land lease agreement signed for the project at VOC Port, Bikaner

ACME has acquired a 246-acre land parcel in Port of Victoria to establish a green hydrogen production facility with a capacity of up to 1.2 MMTPA. This significant investment will create local jobs and stimulate economic growth. The project will also require the development of a new 345 kV power line and foster the growth of a supporting industrial ecosystem.

Project Features

  • Phase 1 Capex spend – US $700 million
  • 200 MW Electrolyser capacity
  • 200-250 MW Solar PV capacity
  • 0.1 Mn MT – Phase 1 NH3 per annum
  • Strategically located in Gulf Coast Texas between Houston and Corpus Christi for end market users and exports
  • This project will sell hydrogen equivalent to 2.9 million MT of green ammonia as its product.
